The Dartford & District Photographic Society is one of 38 groups that are members of the Kent County Photographic Association (KCPA) which represents clubs across the South East, including Kent and Essex. On 28th October the society was treated to another talk by George Robertson (DPAGB AFIAP BPE4*). This is the third talk he's done for us over the last few years. George is an award winning photographer and mountain leader, based near Glasgow. He leads expeditions to various parts of the world and photographs the wonders he sees. DDPS has often supported the Ellenor hospice by providing photos for events such as last year's open garden events. We're delighted to say that in July 2026 Aduragbemi Okeyemi worked with Ellenor to provide a collection of photos for the Dartford Council's sponsored We're Going On A Bear Hunt. We were invited again to exhibit a selection of our members' photographs earlier this year at the Bluewater Shopping Centre. Not only were photos framed and displayed, but the images were also printed as postcards for members of the public to purchase. All proceeds were given to the Ellenor Hospice charity.
